Cheviot man accused of deadly choke hold now charged with murder

CHEVIOT, Ohio (WKRC) - A Cheviot man accused of putting another man in a deadly choke hold is now charged with his murder. Timothy Jones, 33, was originally charged with felonious assault, but a grand jury indicted Jones on murder Thursday. Jones is accused killing Cory Grimm after inviting Grimm into his house Dec. 13. Jones allegedly put Grimm in a choke hold when the two started arguing about Jones' drug habit. Grimm fell unconscious and later died at the hospital. Jones is being held on a $500,000 bond.
