http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com "I feel the earth move under my feet....." The Hotel Euphrat is one, if not, the best available in the Nemrut area of SE Turkey where travelers stay before beginning the sunset or sunrise climb up Nemrut Dagi. Decent hotel, good food, no air conditioning and SE Turkey is extremely hot even in September. Travels I stand at the edge of the terrace admiring scenery when I feel as if I am going to fall over the edge. Jumped back, employees come running out of the hotel yelling and shouting "earthquake." This area of Turkey sits on two fault lines and out of the approximately half-million earthquakes each year, only a quarter can actually be felt! Lucky us....
