Hisham: BN Election Machinery In High Gear

The Barisan Nasional (BN), election machinery has endured the test of time and is mature enough to face any challenge including in the upcoming general election. UMNO vice president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the machinery set up and the preparation seems better compared to the previous general election. He added that the party no longer concerns itself on matters regarding the opposition and is concentrating on the election. The party's machinery, he said, is also ready to counter the opposition's smear campaigns on social media by the opposition before and during the election. BN leaders and members were also advised not to become complacent as they need to work hard to ensure the party continues to rule.
