Spicer Raccoon - Part 17 - High Five!

Spicer and his companion checked in at the Dine-N-Dash. This boy always knew a meal was worth a heap of high-fives! His buddy, however, was uncertain that's how things went in the coonie to human world but he went with it since it earned him some delicious treats. Spicer rarely visited so it was always a treat to see him over the years braving the wild. His body displayed the scars like medals worn from battles won. It wasn't ever easy to see him looking so gruff but it added to his unique character charm. This was the last footage taken of Spicer in April 2018. Sadly we haven't seen this sweet old boy since then. We, however, remain hopeful since he has disappeared before for nearly a year before returning. NOTE: Our rescue raccoons resides in a region where there hasn't been a case of raccoon rabies for over three decades which is tracked by the local public health department. We are fortunate to be able to observe and professional work with a variety of wildlife species since we reside next to a protected wildlife preserve. Our rescue raccoons lounge and play on our terrace as well as use it as a thoroughfare. No children nor pets are ever harmed, especially the wild animals captured in these videos.
