Coyote With A Possible Broken Leg

This coyote was in a cemetery in the Greater Vancouver area in B.C. Canada. It appears to have an injury, possibly a broken leg or fracture. Hopefully, it's just sprained. A friend of mine called Critter Care and they told her to keep an eye on the Coyote and if it appears to get worse then they will stop by to check it out. It is very difficult to catch a Coyote. This one is still quite mobile so using a net would definitely not be advisible. I once assisted Critter Care by monitoring a cage trap that was set up to catch a severly manged Coyote (so they could treat the mange) but that plan was not succesful. For this coyote, I am going to keep an eye on him to monitor the canine's health. I will make sure to keep you posted if I do see it again.
