Just after 5 am Cleveland Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial fire on US 59 at County Road 381. THe first unit on the scene reported a large brick commercial real estate office fully involved and callled for additional units. A second alarm was called bringing in Porter, Splendora and New Caney Fire Departments. US 59 was closed as fire department sset up dump tanks to supply water to the fire. At this time US 59 is backed up very heavy with only one left lane moving through.
