More than 300 hawkers kicked out of Kitengla town

More than 300 hawkers have been kicked out of Kitengela town and  their structures destroyed. The Kajiado county reinforcement officers accused the hawkers of obstructing feeder roads and access to the existing open-air market. The hawkers decried harrasment from the askaris claiming they have lost goods to the county government despite paying a daily operation fee of 50 shillings. traders at the  open air market faulted the county government for poor services, insecurity, poor drainage and mismanagement of public toilets.
