South African based Africa Rising International Film Festival will host its first annual festival on November 26th - 29th 2018, which will run as a pre-event to the SA Global Citizen festival and the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela and Albertina Sisulu's birth year. This will display ways in which Africa is rising globally through film, technology, and story-telling. It aims to drive impactful conversations around transformation and exploring the role of film-making in the conservation of African Culture. The film director Ayanda Sithebe joins us to share more on the festival. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
