My Canon 5D MkIII died yesterday. I've had it for 2-3 years and it has been well looked after. It's not used in a pro environment so is never chucked around. I'm a little disappointed to say the least. I love having a camera like this because it's so reliable and does what you want when you need it to. Not any more. It doesn't do anything any more :-(

This video is a moan / description by me about what happened, what the symptoms were, what I tried and what I'm doing next.

Please comment and let me know if you've used a service centre with a DSLR. I'm worried that it will come back repaired but with clear signs that it's been taken to bits.
