In this video I share notes on pruning back a dominant (and intentional) autumn olive in a guild with Russian hawthorn and other key elements. The idea is that the reduction in size of the Autumn Olive will allow for a lot more light to enter the system and stimulate growth on all the other plants, and at the same time, the nitrogen in the roots of the Autumn Olive will be released to those plants.
