6 stranded whales returned to the ocean in New Zealand

More than 200 conservation workers and volunteers in New Zealand managed to return six surviving stranded whales back into the ocean on Tuesday. Two of the weaker whales beached themselves again. The crew continued to monitor the other remaining whales until they swam into their natural habitat. In another unrelated stranding incident in New Zealand, all 145 whales died.
