My first frog spawn this year was born on 24/03/2015, they looked normal, but my second frog spawn born on 30/03/2015 always looked a reddy brown colour even when in their jelly. We will have to wait until July or August to see what colour they grow up to be :)
This video was made when they were 6 weeks old.

Please remember to come back to see what else I find in my inner city garden, the older it gets, the more surprises nature brings me :) This year I have spotted mason bees nesting in an old piece of wood, some smaller bees are nesting in the pvc window frame.
The pond is the local watering hole for a cute hedgehog, wasps and the drone bee. It was originally an old paddling pool, but 2 years ago I made it a little bigger and re-lined it.
