6 years ago I moved into my house, it's in an old council estate, the previous person who live here previously had trashed the garden, there were bricks, tin cans rubbish and broken glass everywhere. I spent a whole year picking out every bit of debris. The following year I used an old paddling pool to make a little pond, I bought 2 trees for 50p which had lost their labels and let nature slowly take over. I used an old pallet by my pond to put a shed on for additional shade while the plants began to grow. Skip ahead to this year, I have 2 different coloured tadpoles from 2 batches of frog spawn, mason bees nesting in an old part of a wooden bed frame, numerous beetles, slugs , snails, wasps (they visit the pond for a drink) and now I have my friendly wild hedgehog :) If you want to help save the hedgehogs which are now on the priority conservation list, please copy and paste this link to find out more http://www.hedgehogstreet.org/data/pdfs/hedgehog_st_fact_sheet_final.pdf Thank you for watching my video, thank you to everyone who has liked and subscribed.
