Delta flight heading to Dayton makes emergency landing

NEW YORK (WKRC) -- A flight heading for Dayton had to make an emergency landing in New York Monday night.

The Delta plane took off from Laguardia airport in New York around 9:15 Monday night, when the pilot got a notification of a possible tire issue.

After circling Laguardia several times, the plane was diverted to JFK airport for the longer runways.

All of the passengers were safely evacuated and brought back to the terminal.
