WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Bern Nadette Stanis, The Sexy 70's 'Good Times' Actress

Bern Nadette Stanis, is best known for her role as Thelma Ann Evans–Anderson, the only daughter of Florida and James Evans Sr. on the CBS sitcom Good Times.

Born in 1953, Stanis was born and raised in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, this curvaceous beauty attended Erasmus Hall High School and became Miss Brooklyn in Miss Black America pageants.

Stanis played the role of Thelma Ann Evans on the CBS sitcom Good Times from February 1974 to August 1979.

After the series ended, she made appearances on television shows including The Cosby Show and What's Happening Now!!

She then lent her voice to radio, did a Nationwide commercial and has been featured in several promotions for TV One.  

She also appeared in many TV series, some as herself, and made movie appearances from 2000-2015.

In July 2016, Stanis appeared on an episode of Centric's Being, discussing her life and career.  She still appear on programs sharing her memories and thoughts on Good Times.

Stanis has been married four times, one including her high-school sweetheart and another marriage lasted 31 years.  She also has two daughters.

Stanis is the author of four books (Situations 101: Relationships, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; For Men Only; Situations 101: Finances; and The Last Night).
