If you're thinking about buying an iphone 6 or iphone 6 plus in 2018, you're probably doing so because of a tight budget.  

Here are my thought on buying an iPhone 6 in 2018. The should shed more light in your final decision on whether to buy or not.  

Summary: 
While the iPhone 6's build quality is still top notch, some hardware parts seem to be stuck in the past.  The camera,  RAM, processor, display e.t.c. are all out dated when compared to new iPhones. Suprisingly,  they're still good and very usable in 2018 and probably 2019 and 2020. Nothing much to prevent you from enjoying the full iOS 11.3 experience.  

With the iphone 6 price at $200-$300,  you might have to compromise some of the flashy features and capabilities of newer iphones to save a good chunk of money.
