When he learns that the massive Mavericks surf break exists just a few miles from his Santa Cruz home, he resolves to tame it. Fearing that Jay will be crushed to death without proper training, Frosty takes the boy under his wing. With just 12 weeks to prepare, they embark on an intense and rigorous regime while forming a life-changing bond.
