After the Red Dress Fashion Show to support Women's Heart Health, with flashing lights, a long red dress, sitting next to fantasy car, Brendaa Hayes gave advice to women on how to take care of their hearts. At age 40, Brenda collapsed on her kitchen floor and was then diagnosed with several heart rhythm abnormalities. She has been treated with medications, catheter ablations and a pacemaker. She is a mother and college professor who has overcome depression and anxiety related to her illness. Brenda attended the Red Dress Fashion Show in NY after speaking on a panel that featured WomenHeart Champions. These panels were hosted by Sharonne Hayes, MD, Director, Women's Heart Clinic, who educated journalists about women's heart care.
