iOS 10 Beta 4 - All you need to know

What is going on guys Apple Fox here and this video will be about the update of iOS 10 it’s the developer beta 4 and it of course brings new functionality as well new features. But as always keep in mind that it’s just beta, so it may crash sometimes but there’s still some time remaining till the final release and also we’ll be seeing more betas of iOS 10.
So before the update the capacity was 12.12 Gb on my 16 gigabytes device and after it got shrunk on 12.08 so looks like we lost couple megabytes but fortunately it’s not very much.
So probably the most major thing that happened in this updated is the new look of the redesigned emojis. As you can see they look a little darker and little bit more yellow I would say, but just overall they look a lot different, not Apple like. And I just wanted to wait a little bit with the video just to see the reaction of people on social media and their opinion about it. And according to all of the tweets of many different people it looks like there are more people who don’t like the new look than people that do like it. I personally don’t like them as well, it will definitely take some time to get used to it but looks like this will be reality in iOS 10.
What’s also quite funny about it is that gun emoji got replaced with this watergun emoji which is really strange. It would make sense if this one was added and there were both of them but now it means that if you send someone who uses android or everything but an iPhone this emoji of water gun he would receive a normal looking emoji gun. If you just take look at other operating systems the emoji looks like this and the one from Apple looks like this. So It’s really weird.
When I first got my hands on this beta of iOS 10 it felt a lot snappier than the previous one that’s mainly because the animation when opening folders is a lot faster. It’s just like you click it and you’re there, so you don’t really need to wait for anything.
Something similar can be seen on any other app. So when you open something up you can close it right away. So the animation doesn’t have to finish at all. I don’t always manage to close it before the animation completing but the fact that you can do it is really great.
With iOS 10 the new sound of keyboard was introduced but each key sounded the same. Now new sounds were added for individual keys. I mean not for the letters but for space, return and also the backspace key that sound a lot different and it’s great.
When you’re sliding down the notifications centre in an app you can see that there is no longer the new animation that came with third beta, but instead we’ve got the old one back, I liked it and I just don’t see any reason to take it back.
And also in the notifications centre when you swipe to Access the widgets there is now a date right at the top so it’s always in front of your eyes.
In the settings, when you tap on general the handoff and suggested apps is now renamed to just handoff.
If I jump into wallpapers you can see that there are many wallpapers removed and that is quite sad, but on top here you have wallpaper of iOS 10, 9 and 8 right next to each other, and also the iOS 8 wallpaper wasn’t available before so it’s okay it’s back.
After the installation of this beta of iOS 10, when you Access the control centre, this panel shows up just to inform you how to use it, it’s mainly for people who downloaded it for the first time and don’t have a idea about it.
So this the end of this video I really hope you enjoyed it and you can also leave a like on this video just to let me know. Don’t forget to check out other videos on this channel, and if you like my videos don’t hesitate to subscribe to my channel.
