Govt Freezes Rate Hikes For All Vehicle Classes

The government will freeze toll rate hikes on 21 highways across the country that are eligible for an increase in 2019. Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, in a statement today, said the move applies to all vehicle classes. This was in addition to Lim's earlier announcement on the tabling of 2019 Budget, in which he said only toll hikes for intra-city highways would be frozen.
