Atrium: New oil filter technology for optimised performance

Engine manufacturers must live up to new regulations and changing market demands. One recent change is that engine manufacturers have replaced camshaft injection with hydraulic control systems in two-stroke engines. Four-stroke engines must live up to TIER IV regulations. To help support these next-generation engines, Alfa Laval has developed a new technology for its 290- hydraulic control oil filter range. Called the Atrium technology, it is suitable for hydraulic oil filtration, lube oil filtration for four-stroke engines, lube oil main filtration for two-stroke engines, among other types of fuel oil filtration. With Atrium, there will be less wear on the equipment, performance will improve and the total cost of ownership will be lower.
