We are at Manitou Station on the Hudson Line, just north of CP46 and MP46, where we see Metro North Train 8848, the first of two southbound express trains to stop here to pick up hikers to take back to NYC. Today, only three people got on the train, but there usually aren't too many who get on, the average being about 7 or 8. Today's consist is Shoreline I cab car 6201 The Connecticut Yankee, and 6 additional Shoreline coaches with Genesis P32ACDM, The Kirner, shoving on the rear. Enjoy the sight of this train as it pulls out of the station, with the Bear Mountain Bridge serving as a back drop. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on June 3rd, 2012.
