The Miami Heat's "elite" "bigman" "defenders" didn't look so good tonight against Julius "Unstoppable Beastmonster" Randle. He only needed about a half's worth of work to put the game out of reach for the Heat, scoring 11 quick points in the first to get things going. He was too big. He was too strong. He was too fast. Who says he needs a jumper? He doesn't need a jumper when he can just rampage through the paint like a bull in a china shop and get buckets that way.

I was sort of hoping that he would keep up the scoring and maybe get 40, but I should definitely know by now that insane first-half performances are never sustainable. Mostly because if someone is kicking another team's butt that bad it means that they won't get to play the whole game to get more stats.

Happily, it seems like the significant amount of disdain that Lakers fans had towards Randle has dissipated a bit (I, however, still don't like him overly much). He was the scapegoat early on in the season, but now people are realizing who the real cancer of the team is. If you don't already know, I'm not going to tell you who, though. Should be easy enough to figure out.
