Beyond Reality - Amazing Race 14 Recap  4/12/09
Last time Mel & Mike were eliminated.  They are in Phuket, Thailand & must fly to Bangkok, Thailand.  Once there they must find a boatyard & search for the next clue.  All teams are on the same flight.  Roadblock-task for one-Who can propel their team forward?  This involved putting a propeller on a boat.  Detour-Broken tooth or Broken record.  Broken tooth involved traveling to the street of happy smiles & matching up 5 people with the correct dentures.  Broken record required taking a party taxi with some locals for 5 miles while participating in the karaoke sing along.
Margie & Luke were the only team to choose Broken teeth.  Everyone went back and somehow got their belongings after the propeller challenge except for Kisha & Jen.  This pit stop is Phya Thai Palace.  1st to check in was Margie & Luke & they won a trip for two to the international spa & resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Checking in 2nd was Jaime & Cara.  3rd to arrive was Kisha & Jen but they had to return & get their travel documents before they were allowed to check in.  3rd to check in - Tammy & Victor.  4th to arrive - Mark & Michael but they broke the rules twice by using their possessions to settle a bill so they got 4 hours worth of penalties.  Kisha & Jen checked in 4th.  Mark & Michael were last but since this is a non-elimination leg they will have to perform a speed bump in the next leg in order to stay in the race.
Next time - Jen vs Luke & Luke vs Jen.
