This video shows how both devices cope with the same instruction in a 'head to head'. I have had an Apple iPhone 4s for many months and gotten 'used' to SIRI and quirks. The iPhone 4s is running iOS5.1.1. As you can see - here in the UK we have a male SIRI voice, but certain features of SIRI have never been available to us. (E.g. - Map searches etc) (Something I hope will be 'addressed' with iOS6. The Google Nexus 7 running Androids latest Jelly Bean 4.1.1 also has a very competent voice recognition system as part of its OS. Both work very well. Whilst I found that SIRI recognised slightly more words than the Nexus 7. I find that using the Nexus 7 easier and more straight forward. There is no attempt at anthropomorphising the OS on the Nexus 7 as there is with SIRI. Over the months I find SIRI becomes tiresome and wish there was a 'Just get to the point' option. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)
