Day 4’s activity brings us to the Sleeping God’s Canyon with CanyoNZ for an epic canyoning activity in the heart of the Coromandel, New Zealand. We are picked up from Thames, a small town in the Coromandel and are taken by CanyoNZ to the Sleeping God’s Canyon.  As we arrive at our first obstacle, however, we realise that this canyoning activity in New Zealand is going to be much harder than we thought...

Despite the full canyoning trip being cancelled, our group of adventurous backpackers decide to go on a hike up the Goat Track anyway to get a taste of canyoning led by our CanyoNZ guides. We explore stunning native forests and scramble through amazing river valleys.
