Nice & Easy. Trying to show the young lads out there that you don't have to use Vampire Ring to be proficient at dealing damage. Also trying to practice for a hopeful Death Lv2000 No Damage Solo. Now, let me tell you why I outright despise the Vampire Ring: Skill Connect is a form of attacking where you chain together Sword Skills. Each chain nets you an increment in damage so if you build up to a big skill at the end, its gonna really hurt whereas if you do it raw, its rather so-so. The part I find interesting about Skill Connect is that it dangles the rewards of a snowballing effect in your face all the while having the increasing risk of getting attacked as you try to build up that snowball. This is simply because the longer you stay in a skill connect chain, the more the chance you will get hit increases. On every chain, you are taxed with the question: "Keep going for big boy damage or stop for a bit because you might get hit?" This question prompts show-off players like me to work on their reflexes and reads to try and go for the big boy damage all the while dancing around attacks or playing it safe when you need to. This Skill Connect thing is surprisingly deep when you think about it like that and its the main reason why this game is fundamentally a better game than Lost Song. But now, what if there was an item that turns Skill Connect on its head: an item that made you regain a whopping 10% of the damage you deal as HP. Considering a strong character like 2H Sword Kirito here, hits for ~100,000 with buffs and average character HP is around 15,000 HP, you recover 10,000HP per hit. Which, in essence, makes you have a near infinite lifebar as long as you continue attacking. This makes the need to react to incoming attacks get thrown out the window along with the prospect of Skill Connect chains providing depth to the game. "The man who seeks immorality and obtains it often ends up longing for the life he led as mere mortal." The whole Skill Connect depth thing is why I value clean play so highly in this game. It represents a portion of the game that I think makes the game incredibly fun and worth learning at a higher level. "But BK. Getting hit every 5sec and wasting time healing isn't fun." Then flex your skills and don't get hit. I got 20+ No Damage Solo videos that says it isn't impossible to play cleanly while doing good damage. And hey. Don't go thinking that solo-ing up the Mugen Dungeon with the aid of this item makes you a top player proficient at solo play. Because that's not a solo, my friend. You have a dedicated healer called Vampire Ring at your side so there's no way that can be called a solo fight (^_^) Music: -Sprint [Mind Zero] ==================================================== © All of the content in this video are copyrighted property of their respective owners.
