Investments and insurance group, UAP Old Mutual Holdings, has issued a profit warning indicating that its earnings for the period ending December 2018 are bound to be lower by at least 25 per cent than for the same period in 2017. 
This implies that the company’s net profit for the period ending December 2018 is set to be less than 908 million shillings in what management has attributed to adverse performance at the Nairobi Securities Exchange and unfavourable valuation of properties in Kenya and South Sudan.
