9 Chinese contractors arrested in Westlands for constructing an illegal building

15 people have been arrested for allegedly constructing a high rise building in Nairobi's Westlands. 

The suspects included 9 Chinese nationals and 6 Kenyans. The suspects were arraigned before city hall's magistrate. The suspects are accused of erecting a structure without approved plans. They have been released on a 100,000 shilling cash bail. The case shall be heard on September 4th before Senior Principal Magistrate Njagi.
