In conventional methods bones and other tissue can obstruct the desired image, however Shimadzu's new Bransist Safire displays a clear digital image on a flat panel monitor. "the 17" direct conversion panel is the worlds only panel that can take perspective images and photographs". Through a series of complex film development and filtering processes, bones and other obstructions can be removed from the pictures taken with traditional methods. By sending the image directly through a computer to the flat panel, the Bransist Safire improves the speed of the process. The Bransist Safires's 3 axes arm allows for a full body examination without having to move the patient.
