Nestled 3 miles from the Silver Flats Reservoir is Silver Glance Lake. Silver Glance sits at the base of White Baldy and Red Top peaks in the Wasatch Mountain Range. Most people visit the popular Silver Lake which is not to be confused with the Flats or Silver Glance. Confusing eh? Yeah, there are three lakes that have the name silver in them. Less than an hour from Utah Valley you can be in a serene, alpine setting with incredible views of Mount Timpanogos. I went backpacking with my two good friends, Dane and Clark to do some gear testing and to get away for a simple over night trip. Lets just say it was awesome.
