That's what Hudson's "step down" design was. This one was then dressed up in a flame paint job, trimmed out with one of the most impressive interiors you will ever see, and powered up with a healthy big block engine. Check it out. The toothy grin and smooth lines of the Hudson just beg for a flame paint job. The Blue flames created for this car were sprayed over Dark Blue and are echoed elsewhere in this ride. While this build was done a while ago, you can see by the way that the paint has held up that it was an expensive project, created by professionals, with lots of time consuming preparation done before an ounce of paint was sprayed. The custom toothy chrome grill and front bumper is definitely shiny and either happy or menacing depending on how you look at it. The hood slopes down into a filler panel that intensifies the look. All gaps between body panels are tight and consistent and the headlights are frenched in with the door handles removed to create a super clean look. The view from the side displays the flames in all their glory and the body lines bend down around the frenched taillights and over the trunk ending in another sweet bumper with dual chrome exhaust tips peeking out from underneath...
