Cele calls for femicide cases to be reclassified as Schedule 6 offence

Police Minister Bheki Cele has called for femicide cases to be reclassified as a Schedule Six offence. Schedule Six offences include murder and pre-meditated murder. Perpetrators would have have to prove exceptional circumstances why they should be granted bail.
