The Hawks in Gauteng have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in last night's attempted cash-in-transit heist. A fidelity vehicle was attacked by a group of criminals on the N3 near Marlboro, North of Johannesburg. No money was taken. The incident comes amid a spate of cash robberies in the province in recent days. The South African Banking Risk Information centre, or SABRIC, says there's been 140 cash in transit heists since the beginning of this year with Gauteng topping the lists at just fewer than 60 incidents.
