Eugene Skeef invites you to join him at Singing The Bridge. Singing the Bridge is a unique 4-day event, in co-operation with Musicians without Borders, consisting of workshops, concerts, talks and discussions exploring the role music can play in building positive and inclusive community and individual identities. During the first festival of its kind ever to be held in Ireland, internationally renowned experts in the fields of music therapy, community music and amateur music will join with local community leaders, young people and musicians to develop long-term projects where music functions as a bridge-builder between communities, cultures, ethnicities, religions and classes. The goals of the festival include creating a legacy of exchange, skill sharing and mutual inspiration. To ensure maximum inclusiveness, non-musicians and musicians of all levels are welcome to participate. All events are free of charge but as places are limited enrolment is advised.
