LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. (Angela Ingram) -- The ability to unite strangers for a common cause is one of the ways Lauren Hill will be remembered and it was obvious tonight just how money lives she touched.#22 drew hundreds to the levee in her hometown of Lawrenceburg and many wanted to say thank you to her parents for sharing their daughter with all of us.    Of the hundreds of people who crowded Lawrenceburgs levee, very few actually knew Lauren Hill, but all of them have been touched in some way by their hometown girl."The Hills shared Lauren with all of us and it's showing respect and a way to say thank you to them for sharing her with us, said Christine Caudill.    Lauren's number, 22, is visible everywhere in the crowd.    Many wrote what Lauren meant to them on cards and balloons, saying how her brave battle with cancer and her efforts to raise money for DIPG research touched their hearts."I just kept thinking how strong she was and I imagine myself and I knew that there is no way that I could've been that strong, said organizer Sarah Powell.There's nothing I think she really did for herself, said John Caudill. It was mainly all for her cause to help with DIPG and stuff like that."At exactly 7:22, everyone released their balloons, the bell tolling 22 times in Laurens honor.Some even made it a point to watch Lauren play in her first college basketball game."It was one of the best days of my life, said Katie Engel. She was so happy and she played so well."    She was an inspiration and a superhero to even the youngest who watched her live out her dream.I was like, wow!  That was awesome.  I didn't know that she could go that high.  It was her best, but we remember Lauren, that we were thankful for her and how she played her game.Lauren's parents were in the crowd, quietly mingling with people, thanking them for coming out.    Teammates from Mount Saint Joseph made the trip to Lawrenceburg as well."The Cure Starts Now" has a campaign celebrating Laurens achievements.
