A raging wildfire has killed at least 50 people, and more than 200 remain missing in the US state of California. National Guard troops are combing the areas scorched by the blazes for human remains. Most of the damage and casualties are reported from the northern part of the state, where the Camp Fire killed 48 people in the famous retirement town of Paradise. Further south, the Woolsey Fire killed two people and burned more than 400 buildings to the ground.
