http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com ThIS little town has more date palms than people!. Over 300,000 date palms with a population of 23,000. Siwa was once the most inaccessible of Egypt's oasis and crucial to trade caravans who crossed from the Nile Valley in the East to Libya in the West. Filmed in 2010 Siwa now has a buzz for strong chakra, etc. I felt nothing :) The town spreads for a whopping two blocks in all directions. However, there are hotels, restaurants and shops. Donkey carts come and go (the main transport in Siwa) and comically fun (my town highlight :) Please don't forget to Share, Like and Subscribe! Thanks..
