The devastating attack on the eNgcobo police station in the Eastern Cape six days ago have left a community in shock and six families in mourning. The unprecedented attack also shocked the country. But while the criminal investigation and the judicial process is continuing, this community and especially the families of the five policemen and one civilian who were shot dead are trying to put their lives back together. One of the steps of healing will be a mass memorial service for the fallen. The community is expected to gather and share in the loss of the families while the slain men will be honoured.
