Very brazen.Officer Johnson says those men barged into Tim's Market on Columbia Avenue during a time when there would have been plenty of people driving by. All 3 are wearing gloves and 2 are carrying guns and the scary part is what happens off screen to the clerk. The clerk immediately complied with their demands and they took him into a back room and still beat him repeatedly with their fists, says Johnson. That clerk is going to be okay, but the store lost money, several packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets. The challenge for police is identifying the men responsible. The store was empty other than 2 employees and neither got a good look at these violent gunmen, who pulled off a violent armed robbery just a few blocks from police headquarters. These guys should be considered armed and dangerous, says Johnson.
