Environmental Hazard : Group Calls For End To Plastic Pollution

For Nigeria to avoid the damaging consequences of plastic on human health, natural ecosystems and its climate, there is need for massive investment in raising capacity and other mechanism that would appeal to the sensibilities of people to act responsibly and comply with international best practices of avoiding the use of plastic. This was the advice of the President, Association for Environmental Impact Assessment of Nigeria, Dr Ahmed Sanda at the 2018 World Environment Day Symposium Organized by the Society of Women Engineers, Technologists and Scientists of Africa.
