PURE PLEASURE! Having endured more than five years confined to a small, bare circus cage, it is so good to see Tomas in such bliss. At last he can enjoy the simple pleasures in life, and we love watching him do so! At the ADI Temporary Rescue Center in Guatemala, where Tomas unexpectedly but clearly gladly found himself, the tire swings are a BIG favorite with the lions. Tomas is the most recent lion to have come into our care. Although he was one of the first animals to be surrendered following Guatemala’s ban on animals in circuses, the zoo where Tomas had been placed had no space for him and so he was handed into our care. Lucky for Tomas! Although he’s having fun, we want to get Tomas to Africa and the new ADI Wildlife Sanctuary. Can YOU help get Tomas to his forever home?
