Dr. Lance Barrett-Lennard (Aquarium whale & dolphin scientist) hits a jackpot of killer whales once during five days of intense searching along British Columbia's central coast, during the 2010 field season. The killer whales were mostly from the R Clan with a few pods from the A Clan mixed in. The photographic data are sent to Fisheries and Oceans Canada scientists at the Pacific Biological Station.
