Here is a teaser to our new film: There are many words that can be used to describe a missing persons case: sad, mysterious, tragic, baffling. You could even add the word “controversial” to that list. When a person disappears, that can sometimes only be the tip of the iceberg in a complicated and bizarre story. Gemma has an exceptional close relationship with her 26 years old brother Ben, a freelance photographer and journalist. They have a tormented past because of an abusive father and an absent mother. So when her brother goes missing from his hotel room in Romania, Gemma start to collect information about him from his belongings, from his studio flat, from the books and notes he left behind revealing the ghosts of his past—slowly piecing together the story of his disappearance. But nothing seems to point where is Ben, neither the police, nor his friends.
