A third fan video for Mask of the Phantasm, slightly similar to the previous Unforgettable. However this time its meant to embody how the romance of Bruce Wayne and Andrea Beaumont came drastically undone even after that one night they had before Bruce realizes the identity of the Phantasm. Phantasm is never referred to by name except in the film credits. Also Bruce isn't the only to deduce the person behind the Phantasm. Present day events escalate towards a three face off between Batman, Phantasm, and Joker. The flashbacks follow a downward spiral for the relationship between Andrea and Bruce likewise one by one men that financially relied on Andrea's father start turning up dead. First Chuckie Sol after he dodges an ambush by Batman. Next Buzz Bronski while visiting Sol's grave. Third is Salvatore Valestra who mistakenly goes to the Joker for help as prior to being Joker, he was Sal's hitman. The same hitman revealed in the final flashback as the man who killed Carl Beaumont, Andrea's dad. The only left for Phantasm, for Andrea to kill is Joker, which puts Bruce and Batman in a dire space. All three survive the destruction of the dilapidated Gotham's World Fair Expo yet it only mirrors how far from the fleeing optimism the characters have come to this moment. The song Never Leave is used to express the way they were, Andrea and Bruce, yet also to acknowledge that they can't live their lives with lies and things they did... to others, to themselves, and more.
