I show you how to make pork chops with an Asian flair with tamarind, ginger and garlic. You could easily make this a stir-fry or pork chops on the charcoal grill. Ingredients: 2 teaspoons to 1 Tablespoon minced ginger 1 Tablespoon Tamarind Concentrate/Juice 1 Tablespoon Sambal Olek 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce 3 garlic cloves minced 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cumin 1 teaspoon turmeric 2 large bone-in pork chops 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil for frying additional salt to taste Lime wedges for serving Marinate your pork chops in the ginger, tamarind, garlic, fish sauce, cumin and turmeric for one hour or overnight. If pan frying, scrape off the marinade so it will not burn. Pan fry on the first side for 2 to 2 and 1/2 minutes. Turn chops over and add the reserved marinade, bake @ 400F for 10 minutes. You can bake them for less time if you wish. Serve with rice or your desired side dishes. Here is a link to my favorite Cauliflower Dish, in this case I did not add on a topping and bake it. https://youtu.be/0YhcPBeIHd4 Thank you for watching!
