Alabama Bald Eagle: Driving Behind While In Flight!

I know there are many excellent videos of eagles around but for the area of Alabama where we camp they are rarely seen. I went to pick up my oldest squirrel from school early one day (November '14) and saw this one on the side of the road eating a dear that someone had cleaned and just thrown out. When I picked her up I told her about it and we got our camera ready hoping to see it on the way back through, and we did! There was also a big brown Golden Eagle that took off in the other direction when I passed!! Golden eagles usually catch all the food they eat, rarely feeding on carrion as is common with the bald eagle so this was truly a rare sight! The Golden Eagle was not there when we came back through together. Stay tuned this summer, we are a family of animal catchers and releasers & usually find some neat Alabama animals to show.
