On the 4th October 2012, Oxfam launched a new global campaign to tackle the big land deals that are forcing hard-working people from their homes, jobs and food -- leaving them destitute and hungry. Activists from across the UK came to London to help launch the campaign by staging a land grab -- complete with JCB diggers and 1940s 'land girls' - outside the Houses of Parliament. Find out more and join the campaign to ask World Bank President, Jim Kim, to freeze the bank's investment in land and set a fair standard for others to follow. http://www.oxfam.org.uk/land
