I don't condone any violence at all, and that includes the violence inflicted on those who do not want to live within a system prescribed by those who "bagged the place first". I'll explain: This planet is covered in land, most of it unused. Because someone, sometime years ago said "that's mine" and stuck a piece of fabric on a stick in the ground, now none of the land, even the unused land, is allowed to be lived on. In other words, humans have no right to live anywhere on their home, Earth, because other humans staked out huge areas first. To me this is such an obvious injustice because it leads to artificial markets in a basic need: housing, lifetimes of renting from the person with the fabric stick, and vast gaps between rich and poor based on something we are forced to pay for, yet which no-one created: land. A man should take a year to build himself a house. In our "modern world", people - if they are lucky - can have one after 25 years of working day after day to pay the bank for lending them money that the bank did not even create. It's just plain wrong, it makes me mad, and this song tells exactly how I feel about it. We pay for all our utilities, so why do we have to pay tax as well? A slave is someone who must work because they have no choice. We are slaves. ************************************************************** join the Luddite Order www.ianswertoahigherpower.com **************************************************************** The backing track is available if you would like to record a cover of this song.
