The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry is in intense discussions with the Finance Ministry on a new mechanism for subsidized petrol with various target groups.




Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said his ministry also discussed with petrol companies and petrol station operators to ensure the existing system used is suitable for the mechanism and hopes the decision will be finalised soon.
